A Connecticut decide on Thursday ordered Infowars founder Alex Jones to pay a further $473 million to Sandy Hook households, Reuters reported.
That is along with the $1 billion Alex Jones was ordered to pay.
Final month Sandy Hook households sought $2.75 trillion in damages – along with the $1 billion.
“Alex Jones perpetrates this assault for one motive: greed,” the households’ attorneys stated within the submitting Friday. “Alex Jones won’t ever deal with them like actual folks, as a result of they’re too helpful to him as targets. “
“I admitted I used to be fallacious. I admitted it was a mistake. I admitted that I adopted disinformation however not on objective. I apologized to the households. And the jury understood that. What I did to these households was fallacious. However I didn’t do it on objective,” Alex Jones stated.
